Free credit counseling advice?
I need advice what to do. I have about 9 bad credit charge off's that affect my credit score negatively. Some of them I have paid off partially, some not yet. I am wondering if I should contact credit counseling for advice on how to imrove my credit score will that help?Most of these accounts should come off in a year or two it willbe seven years , but I need to find out those that are not payed what will happen to them? Can credit counseling help me with this?

What are the consequences for withdrawing from credit counseling?
I am currently enrolled in a 3rd party credit counseling program. I had 4 credit cards when I enrolled and have paid off all but 1. I currently pay a $40 monthly fee for this program includes reduced apr . I want to withdraw from the program and apply the $40 to the credit card to pay it off faster but am afraid of the consequences. The counseling agency said that I will not receive a " letter of completion" and my credit card terms will revert back i.e. higher APR . when I talked to my credit card company they said they could not discuss " other arrangements or plans" with me while I am on this program. Does anyone know what the consequences on my credit report for withdrawing or have suggestions how to handle this? If I stay in the program it will take me 17mo to pay off the credit card.
Can someone tell me a very good credit counseling service?
Or are they all the same ?

i cannot pay cashcall anymore i called most credit counseling agencies and they said they dont work with them. Does anyone know if there is a credit counseling company or how to lower payment to cashcall???? help please

Home loan and credit counseling?
My husband and I just began credit counseling this month in order to get our credit card debt from when we were in college under control before our credit was totally ruined. Anyways, now it looks like by husband is going to get a decent promotion but it is going to require us to move. We currently rent but we have been figuring out that it will be cheaper for us to buy a house in the area we are planning on moving to that it would be to rent a decent house. My question is is it even possible to get a home loan while in credit counseling? His credit score is just over 600 and mine is in the mid 600s. This would be our first house and we are in Texas if that makes a difference. We would need a loan of about $90,000 with our gross income being about $65,000 per year.
I filed bankruptcy and now have to do credit counseling over the phone through green path?
they are gonna send me a book that i have to read called second chance. then i have to take a test. is anyone familiar with this. i am just curious as to what typ of questions they will be asking me on the test. and will this change the outcome of my bankruptcy if i was to fail please can someone help me with this. please only people that know the answer, no guesses pleas

How does going to a Credit Counseling service affect your credit rating?
My credit score is so low, I'm gonna need a backhoe to dig it up, but I don't want to make it worse by going to a credit counseling service. Will I be able to buy a house while making payments to said service?
Credit Counseling Question?
Ok so I am going to be doing credit counseling with NFCC. I basically got screwed over in the past and to be honest I do not even know what is what with my old bills. I was behind and only one was willing to work with me with a payment plan so that is the only one I know I have under controll. Some are in collections and some aren't. I need all my info ready when doing the credit counseling. Would it say right away if it is in collections on my credit report and give me the collections info? Would credit counseling call collections also or would I need to figure out what is what with them cause I know collections are hard to talk to. Thanks for your help.
Credit counseling company they said they will settle for 25%?
i have two 2 cards.. 150000 in debt, i called this credit counseling close to my house ...they said they will settle for 25 % on the 15000. that will be 3750.. is that true....and i have to paid the 800 fee..i called the colloction agency.. they offer me 60 % to pay for the settlement...9000.. what should do....my score 580 now and i have two collation on my report.....4 years old?i am from ontario canada
